Project History:
This gorgeous holiday home was converted into apartments 30 years ago. When the owners moved in 5 years later they furnished the property but made no structural changes - after they'd lived in situ for a while the owners found that certain areas of the property were not being used to their maximum potential, and felt that key rooms could be better designed to fit around their lifestyle. But they didn't know where to start until they met the team at BHD...
Ben Huckerby Design Brief:
The Ben Huckerby Design team was brought in to project manage the renovation and inject a new lease of life into the property. After detailed consultations with the clients new kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, flooring and heating were installed and the entire premises was re-furnished.
The Outcome:
The clients now love their home more than ever, the house is more of a social space, and fits their family circumstances perfectly. The team has helped the clients put their own character into every detail of their home and have re-ignited their passion for their property that will be their home for many years to come.
